The Story

Daniel is an American music magician who has enchanted humans (and animals) in over 50 countries for over 20 years.

 

The audience list is endless, but some are too impressive not to be mentioned. Among hundreds of other famous people, Daniel has played for (and sometimes with) Mick Jagger, Amal & George Clooney, Danish, British, Norwegian and Monegasque royalty, Heidi Klum, Elton John, Jamie Cullum, Liv Tyler, Cara Delevigne, Michael Douglas, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bono, numerous presidents, Buzz Aldrin, Wycleff Jean, Goldie Hawn, Natalie Portman, polar bears on glaciers in Svalbard and donkeys in Croatia.

 

Daniel is a favorite of many luxury hotels, restaurants, wedding planners and private clubs around the world and has entertained at Soneva Fushi - Maldives, Annabels - UK, Hotel du Cap Eden Roc - France, La Petite Maison - Worldwide, Probka restaurants - Russia, Club55 - St Tropez, the Italian Embassy in Tokyo and at the world’s most extravagant wedding venues.

 

Born in Rochester, New York in 1988, Daniel grew up in his parents’ instrument repair shops and was surrounded by all kinds of horns, violins, sheet music and records. At 6 he got his first clarinet, but at the age of 8 he switched to tenor saxophone and a star was born. Since then, Daniel has never considered doing anything else than practicing, performing and producing music. He studied saxophone performance first at Eastman in Rochester, then Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Beautiful coincidences and fellow adventurous roommates took him to the South of France in 2009. This became his base for a decade as he started to tour the world with the band Phly Boyz that he created with his two best friends, the brilliant singer and multiinstrumentalist, Evan Anderson along with the entrepreneur and local legend, Wayne Barratt.

Daniel is not only an incredibly talented jazz saxophonist, but also integrated in his performances are rocky moves, opera, rap and numerous instruments. His shows are filled with humor and wild energy and weird locations are his specialty. Boats, buggies, helicopters, snow scooters, while skiing, in a hot air balloon, you name it.

 

After spending some years in Los Angeles and Norway, today Daniel is living in Ibiza, Spain with his Norwegian wife, three kids and dog. 

From here he continues to travel the world while also making spectacular new musical creations from his home studio in the north of the island.
